Babelpoetry is a poetry project in which the poet/reader uses randomly generated text (often using the 'random article' option on wikipedia) and plugs it in to any online translator. The poet/reader then translates the selected text as much as desired without changing the text in any other way. The last step involves placing the text in a format indicating the way in which the poet/reader would read the words. Word order may not be changed and words may not be 'spliced' in any fashion.

John Wallace de Beque Farris (also spelt John Wallace Debeque Farris or John Wallace deBeque Farris) (December 3, 1878 – February 25, 1970) was a Canadian lawyer and politician.

Born in White's Cove, New Brunswick, he was educated at St. Martin's Seminary, received his Bachelor of Arts from Acadia University and received his Bachelor of Law from the University of Pennsylvania. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1903. He founded the law firm now called Farris, Vaughan, Wills & Murphy LLP and was the first prosecutor of Vancouver.
